Opening hours
Tuesday to Saturday from 10h a 15h. It will remain closed on Mondays, Sundays and bank holidays.
- The access is not allowed groups of more than 15 persons without previous appointment.
- In order to control the seating of visitors, if it is necessary, the access will be able to be limited to the estate.
The house
Raixa Estate is a gorgeous country manor house (possessió) located in the municipality of Bunyola.
The surrounding gardens, the monumental staircase, the Big Pond and the panoramic views offered to the visitor, make Raixa well worth a visit.
The gardens
Raixa is specially well-known because of the gardens that surround the house and reach over the southern slopes of sa Muntanyeta. At the bottom there are the orchards, “dels Tarongers” garden, “de la Galería” garden, with a fountain in the middle, and “d´Entrada” garden with a small pond.
An interesting part of the whole is the entrance gate, built in 1898, which bears the coat of arms of count Ramon Despuig i Fortuny, who sold Raixa to the entrepeneur Antoni Jaume in 1910.
Serra Tramuntana Centre
Presents the Serra de Tramuntana Natural Site and the Raixa Estate as key centres to understand Majorca, and specially, to understand the value and the potential of one of its most unique cultural landscapes as well as its recent history, listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
In the Center you will also find the Espai Collidores, a tribute to all the women who, with their tireless work during the coldest months of the year, contributed to preserving this cultural landscape.

Activitats d'Educació Ambiental. Curs 2026-2027
Curs escolar 2026-2027. Centres educatius de Mallorca
El Consell de Mallorca presenta la nova oferta d'activitats d'Educació Ambiental per al curs 2026-2027, adreçada als centres educatius de Mallorca.
El programa proposa un conjunt d'experiències educatives per conèixer, comprendre i valorar el territori de Mallorca a través de l'observació, l'experiència i el contacte directe amb l'entorn.
Les activitats permeten descobrir la biodiversitat, els espais naturals i el patrimoni natural, rural i cultural de Mallorca; conèixer la fauna i la flora; apropar-se als oficis tradicionals i al patrimoni històric, etnològic, hidràulic i marítim, i comprendre la importància de la conservació del medi ambient i de la gestió sostenible dels recursos naturals.
Aquest curs, el programa continua avançant en el procés de renovació i millora de l'oferta educativa, amb noves propostes i activitats actualitzades. Entre les novetats hi ha Descobreix un món de biodiversitat, patrimoni i gestió cinegètica, una nova activitat que es desenvolupa al Centre Cinegètic de Mallorca, a Son Macià, i La mar no és una paperera, una activitat completament renovada per reflexionar sobre l'impacte dels residus plàstics en el medi marí i la importància de prevenir-ne la generació.
Inscripcions
El període d'inscripció s'obre el 3 de setembre de 2026 a les 9:00 h i romandrà obert durant tot el curs escolar, sempre subjecte a la disponibilitat de places de les diferents activitats.
Les sol·licituds rebudes abans de l'obertura del període d'inscripció no es tindran en compte.
Cada centre educatiu pot sol·licitar fins a tres activitats. Les activitats s'adjudicaran d'acord amb els criteris establerts al programa i la disponibilitat existent.
